Rupesh Paul's most ambicious project Kamasutra 3D which is based on Vatsayana's Kamasutra, the Indian sex manual, has to hurdle by many controversies.
It started with the Sherlyn Chopra playing a lead role in the movie, suddenly got kicked out of the movie by the director Rupesh Paul. For the unaware, Over excited with her debut international film, Twitter queen Sherlyn had left director Rupesh Paul miffed when she uploaded a video clip of the photo shoot of the film on her YouTube channel without seeking his permission.
The tiff between Sherlyn Chopra and Kamasutra 3D director Rupesh Paul got blistering high as the filmmaker had decided to go on with her replacement. Paul was on hunt and has even approached two of Hollywood stars Eva Longoria and Mila Kunis. But Sherlyn seemed hardly bothered about being shown the door either. “Earlier, Mr. Paul was in talks with a Hollywood actress for the lead role. If he wishes to have anybody else on board now, he's most welcome to do so,” she said.
Well, things got sorted out between the two after the written apologize of Sherlyn and the film shooting started again with Sherlyn as Kamasutra 3D princess again.
When Kamasutra 3D was in its high gear, got a break of delayed release date due to controversies of earlier movie St. Dracula 3D, directed by Rupesh Paul. Then he got engaged with his new projects.
But slowly and gradually Kamasutra 3D is getting its gear back. Now this much hyped upcoming International Movie Kamasutra 3D (Directed by Rupesh Paul) will be the centre of attraction at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival as the second trailer of Kamasutra 3D will also be unveiled. Let's hope all the most awaited sensational movie has crossed over all the barriers and it will be released soon spreading the erotic essence all over the world!
